It’s my child’s first time. What should I expect?
First time at Kids Movin’ Up? We’ve got you covered! Just stop by your child’s classroom, where our team will welcome your family and guide you through a quick check-in. We’ll gather a few details—like names, ages, and any special instructions—so we can keep your kids safe and cared for while you enjoy the service. Once you’re checked in, one of our team members will help your child get settled into their classroom.
How does check in work?
Already registered in our system? Just use one of the kiosks in the foyer. Enter the last four digits of your phone number, select your child, and you’ll get matching stickers—one for you as your pick-up ticket and one for your child as a nametag. After the service, show your pick-up sticker to collect your child. A child will not be released to their guardian without presentation of their pick-up ticket.
If we need to reach you during the service, your number will appear on the screens by the stage—just stop by your child’s classroom with your ticket and speak to the room leader.
Are there age specific classrooms for my child?
Yes! We have four separate rooms separated by age group:
Nursery/Toddlers (6 Weeks – 23 Months):
Caring for babies and toddlers in a safe, nurturing environment while parents enjoy the service.
2’s and 3’s:
Introducing 2-and 3-year-olds to God and the Gospel in a fun, safe, and loving environment.
Pre-K and Kindergarten:
Teaching 4-year-olds through kindergarten aged kids biblical truths with lessons, crafts, and hands-on activities in a safe, fun, and nurturing space.
Elementary (Grades 1–5):
Helping kids learn the Gospel through stories, games, dramas, and activities that engage them spiritually, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
How do you ensure my child is safe?
All of our classrooms are staffed by trained, background-checked team members. We use secure check-in and pick-up procedures, and children are never released without a pick-up ticket and a classroom leader’s confirmation.
How often do children learn about God?
Every class includes intentional Bible teaching, worship, and activities designed to help children grow in their faith week by week.
Im a nursing mother. Is there a place for me to privately watch the service?
Yes! Our Nursing Mother’s Room is a cozy, private space where moms with newborns (12 weeks and younger) can relax and enjoy the service together with their little ones.
Baby Dedication
A Dedication is a special moment to present your child to the Lord and commit to guiding them toward a personal relationship with Jesus. It is not baptism and does not impart salvation—rather, it’s a parent’s promise to pray for, love, and raise their child in God’s ways. At Word of Life Christian Center, dedications follow Luke 2:22-25 and are for children 6 years and under, offered several times a year
